BF2 suddenly shut down

My BF2 uses to suddenly shut down while im playing (sometimes i play for an hour without this error, othertimes i play few seconds) and weird is that no error message appear.
Could someone help me?:cry:

start, control panel/admin tools/event viewer/ then click on event viewer see what it says under application

I can't find anything about bf2 there, it seems my bf2 normaly shutdowns itself for "no reason ".

do u mean the whole computer shuts down? thats probably an overheating problem!!!

I do know that some people (myself included) have problems playing games with Teamspeak running, it likes to turn alot of games off, especially ones like CSS and DoD. Battlefield does it also but not as often as it used to.

i had the same problem, i found it was a PSU issue. basically the PSU cant keep the rails with the minimum volts and the PC shuts down. my 12v dropped below the the minimum my 6800GT needed to run and shut the pc down. its nothing to do with the watt rating either as mine was a 420w its all about the keeping the voltage steady.

Only bf2 shuts down, no whole computer
I'm playing.... when suddenly bf shuts down - sometimes also windows get frozen (sometimes bf2 write message connecton problem during play, maybe it has connexion with this problem but i think no)
i think it's fuc*ing MS (macro****) Windows XP problem
I HATE MS!!! Can somebody advise me good windows emulator for linux (mainly for SUSE) which is bf2 capable?
