to Patch 1.3 worth upgrading?

Hello I am new to the game BF2 and to this forum. I want to ask if it worths the time (I heard that it's extremly time consuming to update the game) and efforts to update to v1.3?
Are there many people who play 1.3 or rather the "vanilla" version BF2?
I ask becoz If I have updated to v1.3, I suppose I can't play with v1.0 any longer isn't it? Thx for reading this and your kind reply in advnce!

well ur game will crash to desktop from time to time, that is when u click join server or right after u joined the server, ull get annoyed by enemy comanders droping cars on you

yea alot of people are playing it, its not that bad i guess, i dunno

I does happen, but not that often (for me anyway). Bloody annoying when it does tho

If you want to play online you will need 1.3

I would say no, seeing as how you will be having to patch all over again in less than a week. If anything uninstall BF2 and defrag a couple of times. Install BF2 then when the 1.4 patch comes out, and things should be a lot more smooth with less headaches.

yes - agree - wait for 1.4
but without 1.3 now - you cannot be playing online
