How long does this patch take to install?

I've been installing the patch for a long time! 15 minutes and I"m at 8% still.

file_client.zip seems to be the one messing it up.

I had problems with 1.3 when it first came out. had to use the EA downloader instead of other source..can't remember which one. Maybe try that?

It's instllaing, just very slowly. I have to weedwack the front lawn. I guess I can do that while it's installing.

The auto-downloader version was the one that became suspect for awhile... but it was never made clear that it was actually corrupt.

I've had patches stall on me during install before. Just end it's proccess and try again. Make sure to close down as many other things as possible. You don't want other programs fouling up your install.

Edit: if it's just taking a long time, yeah... leave it. Go do something else for awhile.

It's the filefront one. OKay it passed thae one crappy file and is working fast now.

Same here, the first two 1.3 patches i tried froze during installation. One of them was from fileplanet, the other from multiplay.uk.

I get all my stuff from Fileplanet and none of them have froze on me, thank god!

redownload the patch from another place and try reinstalling it
