I just hate how the sites are all connected but separate. I subscribed to IGN, but any downloads link to fileplanet, so I can't get them. I wasted my money signing up for IGN, because there is nothing being a member gets you.

Sucks because you have to pay $15 (quarterly subscription) to file planet to beta test a game that you'll end up paying $50 bucks for...perhaps if they discounted the file planet amount from the total sales price I would dig it but the way I see it is that the people that play to test are in a sense EA/DICE employees. So I want my dang vacation!

its that amount for a year.. so all the betas from now till next year, aint that something like 10cents a day.. oh such a high price

How they can say only expirence players can have beta? like 2142 is a new game there are no noobs/pros atm. ahh EA ,,,

They didn't. Nothing was said about experienced players getting this. Read it again.

They DID say that they would be talking with COMPETITIVE players and clans. That means the folks that compete in tournaments. This goes to getting feedback on game flow and movement. The tourney players can spot things like that in a heartbeat.

This thing is going out to folks that are supporters (financially) of IGN and a few other select groups that have demonstrated their ability to provide honest unbiased feedback derrived from actual gameplay and nothing else.

Maybe there will be an open BETA before the demo for some last minute idiot proof testing. Hell, just sit in a corner and wait like the rest of us. Not everything is a conspiracy.

They dont want the trash from Skid row smudging muddy boot prints and grubby hands all over the shiny 2142 that's what they mean by experienced testers.

All I say is fix the patch, release it properly and move forward.
