yeah, in CQB I don't bother with scoping.. but medium > long range; always.

I only shot with sights unless im using the shot gun or if its less ten 5m.

I don't usually use the sight for anything less than 30-40 yards or so. You really don't need to. Unless I was using the G3 on single shot I would always aim and spray without scop for close combat.

If your fighting against good players, they won't give you time to aim. They will also be moving in various directions to make it hard for you to hit them. Normally it comes down to who has body armour/better gun. Nothing can escape a wall of lead though.

Close-range: don't use (unless already sighted in).

Medium-range: depends on my weapon and opponent's action.

Long-range: always use (and go prone too).
