erm, is it the inno3d 6200? heard some problems with that card when it first came out. maybe u happen to get one of the first few batches?

Hello.. I found this thread in hopes of figuring out wtf my problem is. I'm getting the exact problem listed above. I've tried several drivers including.. 91.33 beta, 91.31, 84.21, and others. I've tried different graphic settings, card drivers, and I've been clearing the cache. I've been monitoring the temp, which has been normal and I'm not overclocking the card or anything for that matter.

I have no idea what to do/try.

Stay tuned ,i havent quite figured it out yet as its not really hampering my game ,i just get it now and again but yes its annoying.

I only get it playing bf2 how true is that ...LOL

and the 6200 is a PNY


It only does this with BF2.. I've also noticed one of my other games is a bit twitchy now.. I did have an Asus Ti 4200. I'm running the same settings with this game as I had on the 4200..

Also.. my brother got the exact same card.. and they are different. Mine has a fan.. his doesn't.. otherwise... they are exactly the same.

Update:

My brothers bf2 runs fine with the 6200. I exchanged my card and got the 6200 with no fan. Same problem. I uninstalled BF2, installed BF2 from his disks (mine is the deluxe edition), I started getting memory.dll errors upon loading. At 52% it would give error everytime. I never got to see if it still was artifacting. I uninstalled again.

Need For Speed Underground does this "artifacting" too. Motogp2 does not and is no longer twitchy. F.E.A.R. runs great. BF2 also ran great (when "artifacting"), even on high settings, but had lines coming from everywhere..

HELP! please.. lol


Update: I took the cover off my pc.. and put a fan pointing at it.. and the "artifacting" went away.. Not sure what is overheating, but my card has been reading no more than 49c. I have a feeling it's my PSU. It is a dual fan 580w. I've noticed one of the fans isn't working.

I'm getting the same problem with an XFX 7900GT and I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers.



I have opened a support ticket with XFX and I'll see what they say.
