I'll have to agree with the OP on this one.

While it's not DICE's fault about the patch having unforseen bugs, they could at least tell us "Look guys, it's not coming out for about 2 weeks from now. So don't be looking for it every day"

After yesterday's official post from EA on the BF2 homepage... they never did give a specific date for the patch release. I don't know why you guys are whining about it.

I hate how people ***** about this patch being delayed when if they just gave it to us then, it would have probably made MORE problems, and then they would ***** about THAT.

Just let it go, it will come out when it's done. ffs...

Although it would be nice if they worked like Valve...lots of little updates so big things don't get messed up so bad, and if it is bad, its fixed quick like.

Really, how much work is it for EA to post on Their main site???? Its easy, and why is it that its a guessing games when patches will be out? Is it fun for EA to make us guess and make 10000 topics about "1.4 today??" And all the info on 1.4 has been from OTHER SITES like wtf why cant EA tell us the news.
