Ahh! I didn't TK?!

So I was flying in a heli as a sniper.. I wasn't on a machine gun and I was waiting to be flown over a roof top and jump out and let the guys inthe copter just keep on going.. So we begin to take fire earlier then I would have of liked.. so we have about 1/4 a health bar left. So I jump out knowing death is secounds away as anyone would.. Then as I"m a foot outside the heli it blows up! And it says I TKed everyone?! I didn't shoot once, or do anything other then jump out but I get punished by every single of the other guys. It was full heli and I got -12 and the server kick/banned me. Anyone else have this happen?

never I have bailed out and got tk'd because the tail ran into me but that alot different.

But Ea will promise you that noting that happened in 1.3 will happen to 1.4 because they are done making mistakes.

The last person to do damage to the vehicle gets the credit for the kills when it blows up.

While flying in mid air, if the helicopter hits somebody, it takes an obscenely small amount of damage, but even that is enough to give that poor unlucky soul credit for the kills.

Sucks, but your parachute may have impacted the helicopter and caused it to explode. Parachutes in BF2 are like any other solid object.

On a similar point,

I was flying around in a transport chopper (got it at the start of the round) at about 400ft letting my squad spawn in the chopper and drop onto enemy bases. I was there for the whole game (moving to different bases when nessesary). Nothing saw me, nothing fired at me, I didnt plant any claymores or anything like that.

But I managed to get 3 kills all while hovering in the chopper.

Whats the deal with that???

TKs or enemy kills?
If those were enemy kills then I guess that the server got its wires crossed. For example I've seen many times that this twat killed KristianSax while i'm pretty well and kicking. Many times it also doesn't show up on the screen if you killed someone, though I've read that the kills are still added to your points ... or it could well be that some lucky guy managed to shoot the last bullet at your would-be-victim.
If they were TKs then most probably the chopper was tilted then a mate got out and was thus killed.

They were enemy kills.

They all showed up on screen aswell, the white writing and everything.

Wierd.......
