i start bf2 the screen goes black and then the desktop appears whats going on

Yes, there's an immediate crash to desktop problem too. I've encountered it with BF2 vanilla a couple times, but it happens everytime with Special Forces; I haven't played it in a very long time because of this patch.
It also crashes immediately with the mod I had installed, so I got rid of the mod, too.Comment

He said LCD not LSD, 2 totally different things there buddy. UNinstall the gmae and do a complete reinstall of the game with the 1.4 patch when it comes out.Originally posted by Scott_995
