There is so much speculation, rumours and false information regarding this patch that its beginning to feel like a securities' market already.

I want to stop this "tales from EA" about this patch.
I read carefully the ufficial news of 15th and there's at the end this sentence:
"Once we have set a new schedule for release we will communicate this information to everyone. "

So are 2 days (here in Italy is 17th Today) that we are portending for a release that neither the EA's Boss knows.

I want to tell, also, that the link about the ufficial dispatch of 16th (the link that were reporting the fix and the release of the patch - the one unofficial) has been removed.

So it's pointless and useless to try to search in sites.
We can only wait wait and wait and trust only in what EA puts in his site.

This morning a webpage with today's date was posted leading people to believe that the patch was coming out. EASmoothie posted this about it.

Just wanted to comment. This was the page that would have been made available had the patch been released per plan.

But when the issue was discovered, the other statement was posted instead. But trying to save time, I kept the original page up. My mistake. Since y'all love surfing my web directory, I won't make this mistake in the future.

But rest assured, you'll see that info again and will have download links when available.

I think its safe to say there will still be dozens of problems with BF2
after the 1.4 patch, and it appears as if this will be the last support for
BF2 we get, ever... So.. it appears as if even after a year since release
DICE still could not fix the game properly.
b..b..b..but give the patch a chance you say... hahaha... how many chances
does EA get? too many already.

If the patch doesnt impress me greatly, Im done with this game.. there are
some new titles coming out the next few weeks, and the graphics look 10x
better than BF2..hopefully the gameplay will be the same.

DICE is a failure.
