Best way to transfer files?

Hi,

What is the best and fastest method to transfer all your files from one PC to another? I'm getting a new PC and need pics, music, videos, etc.

Ways i have uused are email, a usb flash drive, and i used my iPod to transfer stuff as well, you could also put both computers on the same netword and do it that way.

Move everything you want to transfer in your old computer to a hard drive in that computer. Take out said hard drive. Plug said hard drive into new computer. Copy files to new hard drive. Remove old hard drive. Plug old hard drive back into old computer. Voila'.

Alternatively, an external hd enclosure, like this:

can come in very handy. you can put all your music and videos on an external, and take them with you. I wouldn't pay $25.00 for it; shop around.

Like megawhompertoo said, swap the HDD over. It will save a lot of time.
