ok, i got a question on the commander hack

i just got off a server where someone on other team was spamming arty on us. i'm assuming he was in the commander screen the entire time.

now, do all those arty kills register as a regular kill to the cheater, or as commander kills on bf2s?

assuming the 2nd, my first instinct was to look at the bottom of the scoreboard, and i found 2 people with 0 kills and 0 deaths. then i was going to suggest people on the other team to watch those 2 ppl. i can't get back into the server now, but is this one way of catching the cheaters?

If i remember correctly they all just get no mored, and it gives noone the kills. Don't quote me on that though. Most of the time when i see this hack lately the hacker just drops cars all over the place.
I hate it it lags the hell out of my computer.
You are correct. It actually counts against the player that dies. It's as good as a suicide.

i dont think it registers as kills. buti noticed less people using the cartilery hack most people did it for attention but now its not funny anymore so people do it less.

The person using the hack doesn't have to be the commander. When the cheater drops arty spam the kills show up as kills by the real commander. The real commander would get credit for the kills also on their stats. They don't register in game as kills for the cheater or the real commander.

Only had boats everywhere while playing SF Iron Gator. Funny for a few minutes then became a pain in the other end.

The otherday on Karkand I seen a tank coming towards the first MEC flag from where I was standing on the balcony. So I duck and reload and pop up again ready to fire. Just then this tank starts bunny hopping into the air as if he ws trying to look over the balcony edge to see me. Bunny hopping tanks....wow...just wow...

Ive also recently seen two guys in a squad shotting multiple rockets at once. Some guy laying down land sharking all over the map back and forth when I surprised him and went to shoot him. People keep using cartillery. I keep getting vehicles dropped right next to me or on me out of nowhere.
Ive seen a ton of people just dissapear as soon as I started shooting them and no connection was lost. Ive seen people respawn right in front of me, I kill them they respawn in the same spot not even five seconds later. I see bullets coming through walls at me or hitting next to me when no one could possibly see me alot. As if someone sees through walls. I seen two guys blasting each other up onto a building on th server I play on with FF on. Somehow they got by the FF. So I shot both of them and took the TK's.

I doubt they can fix it with the amount of cheating going on. People dont seem to like EA or Dice so these people really try and mess up the game. I need to find a server that has admin who actively look for cheaters because everywhere I go now I see a lot of cheating.

I've never heard of that one before. Not suggesting you are lying, but that is hard to believe.

I doubt they can fix it with the amount of cheating going on.

I've been playing this game for a few months now and besides the odd commander and Karkand Hotel glitch, I wouldn't say that there are too many cheaters around for problems to be fixed. You should play counter strike. Sheesh... From what I hear, that game has a huge hacking issue.

I have seen that. It was on Karkand at Hotel He was driving towards hotel and then he jumped around twice the height the tank was. Really strange so I asked how and what happened and he wouldn't tell.. He didn't said anything.

Ya he probably didnt even know it happened. Thats a laggy spot sometimes, especially when there a lot of guys and vehicle.

When I ran the wrong drivers on my Vcard, i saw an APC bounce down the road then just dissapear into a bright light that should have been the highrise. I wished him well and installed the right drivers..

I don´t think it was lag, it happened to me...I was on a tank in Karkand and it jumped more or less on that place.
I was playing with clan m8s and they saw it too.
I don´t know how to replicate the Jump.

And thats another good reason not to have IO mode in the 1.4 patch. That form of gameplay just attracts tards and cheats!

I have managed to do the tank hop on loads of occasions...how you do it is as your rolling down from the us base towards hotel...there is a pile of pipes laying on the right side of teh road....as you 1st come into the city...

If you catch those right...as in your tank has to run right next to them...they chuck you up in the air :) its fun when it happens lol.

This has no effect in anyway on teh game it just makes you vanurable for a moment

happened to me one and I was in the tank, drove down to hotel on Karkand and next thing I'm up in the air, there were mines around that place so it was probably a combination of lag and them .....funny as hell tho
