i want to know if it is possible to force a resoloution that is not in the game..... because my "GOOD" computer died on me...... so now i have to use my old one.......... it is able to play battlefield 2 but not very well...... even at 800x600 on low....... i want to run it at 640x480...... please dont flame me or tell me a million reasons why i cant do it...... just tell me if its possible and how to do it.... thanks in advance....

If it is possible for BF2 to run 640x480 the you have to go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default
Open the Video.CON and change it there. -

Instead of doing it, you can go to your main bf2 shortcut, right click, properties, and in the Target area, make one space after the fullscreen 1, and copy paste this: (for example)
+szx 1280 +szy 1024
You can change the numbers to whatever you want from 640 480, 1024 768, etc.
It should be like this:
"D:\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024
MY BF2 IS INSTALLED IN D.
Yours is probably in c:\program files\ea games\battlefield 2\bf2.exe or whatever, so
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024
These are called Command Lines, all of them are CasE SeNSiTiVE-`. Good luck.Comment
