need help with resolution problem

recently i had to reinstall bf2.

now, Before i reinstalled my game i was playing with the resolution 1280x960, my monitor supports a resolution up to 1280x1024.

but now after i reinstalled my game, the highest resolution i can play bf2 on is 1024x768... the higher resolutions arent even on the list on resolutions in video options.

the only resolution options on the list are

800x600
1024x768

before i reinstalled my game i had all of the resolutions (upto 1280x1024) on my list.

anyone know how to get the resolution options back on the list?

(and i never needed to add a resolution to my command line in my bf2.exe, and id rather not have to do that)

will the new patch somehow put the resolutions back on the list? dont know if the patches have anything to do with it, but i would hope so.

What are you patched to currently?

I remember that when I first got my LCD monitor, I could not use 1280x1024 until a patch changed that.

You should have at least 1.3. I would reinstall the full 1.3 patch.
