I'd just like to point out to the people who dont know

You know how when you go to knife someone sometimes you get a Puff of smoke and a noise but no kill (Lets call it "Dusting")

Well Bullets can Dust to. Not just knives

I attribute this to Bad Coding and/or Lag

I don't think anyone doesn't know this already. :)
Bf2 is a complicated game with a very complicated engine.

Same, it always happens to people with +60 ping too. It's not ****in fair that us low pingers get the disadvantage. This better be fixed in 1.4...or at least the people play on servers in their own continent. Even you New Yorkers, stay out of UK servers. You are the 60 pingers that annoy me!

even though ping causes this sometimes (lots of fast movement and servers players positions do not MATCH UP)
and the Bf2 game engine IS complicated
still - hard to understand why, that when an enemy is NOT moving
you empty many clips in to a guy and still get NO kill

i'm sure people who play sniper are all too familiar with the puff of smoke. you see a guy proned 20 yards away, scope in, perfect head shot, POOF! puff of smoke and no kill. so annoying.
