oh **** 1.4 truble already

hey everyone just tried the 1.4 beta and i keep crashing to desktop everytime i click join i hope this isnt trouble to come? i invested a lot of ****ing money into this computer for bf2 and if it starts this **** now im going to be pissed:evil: i have the latest beta installed but went back to 1.3 with no crashing:cry:

amd athlon 64 3400+2.2ghz
1.5gigs of ram
ati radeon x1600 pro 512mb pcie(going to get an x850xt PE from friend this week)
installed the latest drivers:hmm:

dude, your card is good enough, no need to use even more money. BF2 doesnt even use the full potential of that card.

u must be smoking the trees man this card sux so much i get 30 fps just standing around it has a sucky core clock of 574 and a memory clock of 396 the one my friend is selling me has a core of 560 and a memory of 1.2ghz and he gets around 80-90fps and sometimes a 100fps

u must be smoking the trees man this card sux so much i get 30 fps just standing around it has a sucky core clock of 574 and a memory clock of 396 the one my friend is selling me has a core of 560 and a memory of 1.2ghz and he gets around 80-90fps and sometimes a 100fps

must be you then. the x1600pro ownes. just because it sucks 4 you doesnt mean it sucks all together

there should really be a sticky here somewhere giving the alternate install for Beta patch like their is on the EA UK Forums

actually the beta patch works quite well for me atleast i just dont play it because idiots are boting for the new crappy map
