messed up ribbon!

Hey im kinda newb but anyways im just tryin to get medals, badges n ribbons n **** so i go on the guide n decide wow gettin mec ribbon is easy, just join every map including a mec team. so i do that, and wtf i dont hav the god dam ribbon, it said just 1 s on each map, so i did exactly that, nothing! i even looked in my stats in bfhq to see my time in each map, it says i hav atleast 5 mins in every mec map! yet i still dont hav the ribbon! it might seen stupid that im pissed about sum stupid ribbon, but man i took the time to join maps i hate, so i DO deserve it... what do u think i shud do?

oh yeah also i forgot to say that i hav every basic award except basic command, im just wondering but it says u need 40 command points... is it 40 command points in total? or 40 command points in 1 round?

u have to place first in every single map with mec on it on ur team and have a hundred ro 50 hrs in the theatr.

The ribbon appears magically in your stats. You don't actually get awarded it in game with the drumroll and all.

yeah i kno it doesnt come by drumroll, but its weird i waited i did "stilla-killa's" req of 1 s in those maps, n its been like a week now without the ribbon magically appearing :S btw thx stilla-killa 4 the command points thingy... also i kinda figured when i checked my stats after ur response cuz my commander score was wayy over 40

btw jw say u get like around 20 command points at the end of a game, but ur team wins so it doubles... so i WOULD hav 40, tho without the drumroll... does it still count as basic command? like wud it also appear in my "awards"? or do i just have to get 40 without the x2 if u win.

also for the mec ribbon ill try like starting the round AND finishing it... cuz i think for like 2 or 3 of the maps i just joined like towards the end n finished... so yeah ill try doing that, if it doesnt work, thats just gay! :P

Right. You have to get the actuall score(40) before it doubles.

the other day i was playing, and i was commander in kubra dam, wit a score of 32, only half way through the map, so im getting pretty confident that i will get Basic Command... and then its like "There is a connection problem" and everything stopped, and im like "NOOOOO!!!!!" cuz the server just crashed! so im all pissed im like ok, ill try again, dif kubra dam server n trying to go for a new ribbon, so i decide to go for Infantry Officer ribbon, cuz i already had atleast 250 global teamwork score, just need 26 mins in 1 round. so this time im like yep i SHOULD get this easily becuz kubra dam rounds take a long time to finish.. i look at the clock, its been around 20 mins, again bout half way through the map just another 6 mins... and then a dejaview... "there is a connection problem" im like "****!" im on the verge of tearing in anger, so i just decide screw it, so i close the game.... man i swear my bf2 account is cursed! 1. i dont receive mec ribbon wit the original req 2. b4 i get basic command, server crashes! 3. b4 i get Infantry Officer it crashes once again! man feels like i shud make a new one... but it'll take so long to catch up. o well its either my bf2 account is really unlucky, or if u think about it the couple rounds i played were really unlucky...

btw do servers crash cuz of the game?

also when it crashes does it happen for everyone? also does it still track stats that same round it crashes?

well, i use my bros computer to play bf2, and my dad like HAS to make sure it doesnt mess up, so he un-installed bf2! :shock: he said that bf2 made the computer do weird things :censored: i guess there isnt really any point comming here again, well for a while. well... i guess bf2 is over for the summer ill miss it ALOT :cry: well i guess ill either hav to find a new game, or install it next sumemr and hope it doesnt "do weird things"
