account server quicker..

I been a staunched critic of EA/DICE and in my opinion they never will
get all their bugs out.. they just dont have the programming skills..

however, I give credit where it is due.. I have noticed a significant increase
in speed logging into the account server, and loading the server list..

I assume this is due to the fact that EA shut down loads of servers for
other games..but hey I will take what I can get..

anyone else notice the quicker responses..

not really...on some days it takes a long time and some it takes a quick...so its hard to tell

I just noticed this about a week ago. Before then my log in could take 5 mins. I did notice that if i logged onto my lower rank account it was almost instant. Now login all around is way faster for what ever reason.

The trick to faster account login is to delete unwanted servers in your favorites list, I read this trick in these forums(not sure who posted this), was sceptic at irst but it works wonders.

Remember that they need to change their servers for the new patch.

The trick to faster account login is to delete unwanted servers in your favorites list, I read this trick in these forums(not sure who posted this), was sceptic at irst but it works wonders.

This is by far the best way to speed up login time. Delete everything, but the ones you really want (every server you play on automatically gets added to this list). When you login, it gets a player list and ping for all of them. If one or two have gone offline then it waits until the request times out which means it takes you a long time to log on.

Clean out your favorites list and clean your server graphic folder. I log in in about 5 seconds compared to previous 30 or so. One thing that slows it down is loading stats tho.

thanks for the tips..

i reinstalled bf2 a week or so ago so my graphic folder and my favs list
should be pretty clean already..

It used to take a minimum of 30 secs to login, sometimes 60 secs..
Now its about 5-10secs.

Any improvement at all from an EA product is a bonus!
