Problems with ATI 6.x IGP drivers

Hey, well i wanted to update my driver for my on-board Radeon Xpress 200. Ive tried the 6.2-6.7 drivers and they all give me a problem where anytime I open a program or minimize one it flashes the screen once before doing whatever it is. This gets really annoying and i was wanting to know if there is anything i can do to stop this?

i dont know about that problem, but you might want to try using omega drivers, download them from www.omegadrivers.net they help my computer run better than the ATI drivers do

Omegadrivers has not been updated since 25May2006 and that was for the 6.5 release. I have been looking daily for any update for either 6.6 or 6.7 but have not seen anything.

There was some info posted in the driverheaven forums that they would be updating the site, but nothing has happened. OK, I just found a post from Omegadrive in the forums saying:

This was posted on 5Aug2006, but the site does not have an updated file.

I like the omegadrivers better than the DCPro or the WarCat drivers, but I am going to need to update with one of them soon.
