You gotta love bf2 for the fact that you can kill a blackhawk/cobra with a pistol.

I was on wake island today, seen a cobra damaged and as we were at the north base getting bombed with no bases left. We just had to stick and wait till the game ended.

I got the pistol out and shot at it twice and killed the two poor buggers :cry:

Some people spent ages trying to hit it with eryx shots and trying to shoot it with there dpv's and all i done was hit it twice and i get 2 kills and 4 points.

Two minutes later, guess what?

i killed 3 guys in the blackhawk with my trusty pistol!!.:)

How many times do you do this? and have u taken out a fully loaded blackhawk? before. Now that would be COOOL

I've done that a lot recently. It's also worth noting that if you see a chopper about to crash into something, even with full health, then it is worth shooting as I have received kills for the pilot's mistake :)

You hate it when you try hard to kill someone, then get you got a kill assist, when some guy killed them with a pistol, but then again its cool the other way around.

Wow lol, nice. The best I've done is just shooting at the rotors with my rifle. I've gotten a few kills that way. What is the best place to aim for choppers though?

Yeah lol, that's how I get easy chopper "kills" just do some dmg to them before the wreck.

you can shoot anywhere, its just luck. If you see a chopper with smoke coming out everywhere or its about to crash, take a few shots at it anywhere :P. You might get lucky.

Cheap trick but ah well.,

I always go for the steal, you see a helo with black smoke....take some shots at it. Sometimes you get lucky being the last person to hit it before it blows, you get credit for the kill.

You didn't kill nothing; a helo, or jet, or stinger did all the damage and you technically got the last shot on it. That's all.

Especially when theres a FAV buggy/Vodnic/HMMWV laying around. Their guns are Heli killers.

bf2 is remarkbale in the fact that these events can even occur

was on a server 2 days ago, playing mashtuur, when i see the Blackhawk circling in the air didnt think much of it till my clan mate pointed out that it was heading towards us (we were on the grd walking/running to backyard)
looked up and saw it was smoking badly and about to crash into us (4 of us) pulled my pistol out and shot at it blew it up before it crashed in to us

result = 2 blackhawk kills and 3 teamkills ( the wreckage crashed in to me ad my buddies, resulting in me gettin banned from the server, auto ban for 3 tks)

go figure :/

once i was shootin randomly into the mist with my g36c from a BH on shongua stalemate and it said peaceful_ambiance (G36C) Unlucky bastard (not his real name but thats what he was!)
