For a demo to be in that list it has to be located in My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\demos

If it isn't then it hasnt downloaded correctly and something may be wrong with the demo itself or the server.

Thats not entirely true, whilst it does have to be in that folder to stand a chance of showing up in the list i have found the list itself sometimes refuses to show the entire contents of the folder and handpicks every demo that you dont want to see instead. My quick fix was to remove all the other demos from that folder and only put the ones i want to watch back in the folder.

MAK - You are SOL. Who ever set up the batterecorder on that server is a moron.

If you want to play in a specific BattleRecorder server go to

And look up the server which supposidly has BR.

                    Scroll down and look for:

                    bf2_d_dl
                    bf2_d_idx

Next to either one of them should be the URL to their server in which all the files are kept. Check to make sure the link works and that you can actually access the servers files.

                        shi out of luck

Yep, you only have a certain ammount of time to retrieve the file before it gets wiped off the end. You have to remember the time in which the round ended too so you know which one to download. I believe they use miliatry hours too.
