    FPS counter in game

I seem to remember along time ago that you could get a FPS counter up while playing BF2 now i did a search and came up empty handed:cry:

Could somebody tell me how to do it please

bring down console, type -- renderer.drawFps 1(space between s and 1, also F must be capitalized for some reason.) Also, if you have FRAPS installed, you could just run that, but I find the Counter to be too big.

No the F doesn't need to be capitalized.

type "renderer.drawFps 1" with no quote after hitting the ` key

If you press the key above your tab key then type renderer.drawFPS 1 you'll get your fps on screen on how fast your frames are refreshing then press the key above tab again to close the console command window.

BTW the FPS command has to be in caps it never works for me unless i type FPS in caps and i should know i use it every single day in every single game i play.

p.s. if youve got an ATI card try running ATI tools and in every game you play your fps will show.

You can correct any capitalization errors by pressing the tab key, I believe once or twice, after typing in a command.

100% guarantee that capital F is not needed

Could also use omega drivers, puts an fps counter on view by default.
Drivers also provide O/C features plus many more.

Is there a way to manipulate the fps in anyway, such as set a max fps per second.
