Shooting Bombs ...

I want to know if this is possible ...
I was a gunner in a tank on Wake ... an airplane was coming strait at me so i started shotting ... but when he dropped his bombs i thought "it's worth trying" and i started to shoot the bombs, and I think it worked because it exploded in front of me and it had barely scratched me ( and i didn't duck in the turret ) ...
So ...

Ive tried to shoot many of them to no avail. The bombs probably just fell away a bit and the animation was off. Who knows though, maybe if you put enough into it is possible..

A plane bomb will do little or no damage to the tank if it doesn't hit it directly. If it does, it can take half the damage or most of it away.
