Problem with installing SF

I've been playing BF2 for awhile so i thought i'd get Special Forces, so i was wondering if i had to uninstall BF2 and patch them both up 2 1.3? because i installed SF and when i went to play it it came up with the error " mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!!! " , normal BF2 works but i cant open SF. Help please.

should be bf2>sf>1.3

the normal way is:

BF2 =>SF => patch 1.3

But i did

BF2 => patch 1.12 => 1.2 => 1.3(then i got sf ) SF=> 1.3

oh k so is there a different patch for SF? should that fix the "ightning.fx not found" error?

Install 1.3 after SF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And that will fix.

as the others said just repatch it with full 1.3 patch and it will work :)
