Who set that criteria? I don't remember seeing anything on the box stating "50 hours worth of game time equates to services redered for exchange of money".

I also wasted about 10+ hours at various points troubleshooting the game, reinstalling windows, and upgrading what was in all reality a perfectly fine graphics card. In my 20+ years of PC gaming I have NEVER experienced that before.

Sure this is a great game, but its excecution and support have been the most woeful I have experienced, especially for a game that is so popular and has sold so many copies.

And that, my friend, is why EA can stick 2142 up their arse.

Well I've logged like 500 hours. Signed up to EA forums. Own many EA/DICE games such as:

You dont need any amount of hours to join the veteran program, you just need to have a bf2 account under your own cd key. This is basically ensuring that EVERYONE who bought the game is elligible for it and does not alienate any one player that hasn't played as long/gotten certain medals as others.

Yeah, I'd say they'all offer it to ANYONE with a valid BF2 account. If you're a long time Vet, think of it as a thank you. If you got disgruntled with BF2 at some point and left, think of it as an olive branch to at least come and take a look at 2142. On the extreme end, there will probably be people who never played BF2, who will go pick up an ebay copy for $15, just to get the extra stuff. :p

I have like 6 accounts? Does that mean I get 6 reservations lol? It's from when I get banned from a server, I just make an account and go play on that server until im unban again which is usually a week mainly for revenge tk. But point is how does it work out? you get one reservation or many depending on the accounts you have?

You must be magical if you can create another account and play on a server you were banned from. Admin programs not only ban by player name and ip, but also using cd hash. Your cd hash is the same for any accounts you create on your computer.

So are you sure you haven't been just getting temp banned like for one round or a few hours?

WHen i opened my BF2 account i used my girlfreinds e=mail addy , Thing is she caught we screwing her friend ,whoops . Funny enough she changed the password to the address

Now whats the odds that she will let me have it ????????

They are working on it. If you played the beta then you could see for yourself that they fixed the crashing to desktop problems. With that said, if you've played more than 50 hours in BF2 then you have already gotten your moneys' worth just like everyone else. Pateince, the patch should be out soon.

Basically the information we know so far is, you will be able to reserve your ingame name for 2142, you will get an instant promotion the 1st time you play, and you will get a special "war dance" to taunt your enemies. It sounds like an awesome game, can't wait.

that still uses bf2's engine and was rushed through production in 1 year...i'll probably play it but im not going to praise it like i will ET:QW...where they took competition into great concideration, and past gaming experiences as a whole, balanced pubbing vs competition play, made a game that looks awesome and use about the same resources as bf2, the only thing they didnt do better than ea is they took 3 years to develope it.....not that its a bad thing

I already explained this to Chodda, but if I have to explain again.....

Okay on TV2 servers they ban by account name, their servers scan in game for names that are on the banlist, so if you tk on purpose you get banned for one week. So I got some revenge and we both got banned for 1 week, so I made another account and joined the Sharqi server and it worked, even though my Eternal acc is still banned I can make another account and play on that server.

Im not going to go get banned now, I tell you what, if you don't belive me go on TV2 TK someone(s) on purpose and get banned for a week, I bet you can make an account and re-enter.
