Favorites menu

I was noticing yesterday that I have a lot of favorites in my game browser. Even some that I dont remember playing in. I mean to say I found a couple servers with outrageous pings that I would never play in, but the browser said Ive played many times in the server. One said I was in there 30+ times but the ping was 290, not a ping I would deal with.

Also some of my true favorites seem to dissappear.

Anyone else seen this or is it normal?

TBH I think the browser is as messed up as it has always been. I get the same thing in my favourite list - I've noticed as well that when I delete a server from the list, another random server takes its place at the bottom. It's all screwed up if you ask me. Just like the server search function - STILL buggy.

he fav menu is the biggest piece of **** ever. EVER. it sucks.

Combining favorites and history was the stupidest idea ever.

I agree. I go through and delete all the white ones every so often. FYI, the green ones are the ACTUAL favorites.

Yeah I knew about the green ones, but those white ones and red ones just wont quite. Screwy. One said I played 382 times on the server, only Ive never been there.

By the way after looking into it more, you can also delete some of those more stubborn history entries by going to your profile folder and editing the General.com file where all those favs and history servers are stored. Just look for the line /GeneralSettings.addFavouriteServer ***** or the ones that say GeneralSettings.addServerHistory.

If you delete all of them, you will log in to your account server in about 10 seconds.


Basically, just delete your account off your computer, and then retrieve it. OR, go in to the "General.con" file, and delete all the server history, and favorites if you want.

I promise you loading times will shrink tremendously.

yeah the favorites menu sucks and it always has and always will and if it ever gets fixed i will pay everybody here absulutly nothing because if it does get fixed i don't want this queted by someone

Just tried it, doesn't seem any different? I do have a lot of favourites but not actualy played them and the ones i have saved as favourites don't seem to be there??????
