I thought this would be a good idea, a great way to get new members AND a ranked server. Only thing is, in the rules it states that the clan can NEVER have had a cheater in the ranks. What about clans that have a 0 tolerance rule for cheating. Our clan caught 3 of our members cheating with punkbuster, and kicked them the same day. I still have the ss's, but unfortunately our server wasn't streaming the mbl until the next day (it usually takes 24 hrs). Punksbusted wouldn't accept the ss due to this, but never the less, these pansies no longer have the privelage of wearing our coveted tags. I say we need an ammendment to the rules. How bout for once a clan that takes care of cheaters is rewarded, instead of chastised? It's not like you can scan peoples pc's when they want to join your clan.

Yes but unfortunately if you read the rules, it says NEVER HAVE HAD CHEATERS. I can't beleive that most clans have NEVER had a cheater...Comment

This topic is a double edged sword.
On the one hand, all clans are 100% responsible for their members' conduct. If a clan member is fit enough to wear your clan tags then they are fit enough to represent your entire clan.
On the other hand, you aren't some legal entity with billions of dollars in stock -- you're just a gaming clan playing the game at your leisure. Acting as if you guys should do some sort of background check on every member is silliness. Bad apples squeeze through the ranks all of the time and we understand this.
The last thing that we want to do is cause a witch hunt within the ranks of clans. When someone is playing very well on a consistent basis, they are the target of cheating accusations all of the time (trust me, I know :cry:). There's no reason to assume a cheat unless there is 100% proof that it is going on (ie: something that is lag-related like getting killed when you're well inside cover at the last second is not cheating, but is viewed as such by those who don't understand the mechanics behind the game).
The conclusion is simple: Please screen your members as much as you possibly can without disrupting your flow. Every accusation will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis and with extensive research.Comment

Like i said. We already do this. We have caught 3 cheaters, and expunged them from our clan forever. Our clan has a 0 tolerance rule for cheating. So then can we apply for sponsorship? Please advise thanks.Comment

Yes you can. We have also updated the site and removed the word "past" from the ruleset.
