PunkBuster Corrupt

Hey Guyes i use 1.1.2878-710 i think its the 1.3 patch and when i enter a server after few minutes it i get kicked for Punkbuster it seis
"Corrupt File\Memory (81301)"
i have the 2.5 version Punkbuster and i update it to 1.259
what can i do ? help and thank you :-)

Reinstalling BF2 is a solution but I don't think you want to do that I don't know what the Corrupt File\Memory thing does but did you already searched for that on google? Mostly works for me..

I had simuilar problems
turned out to be bad ram
run memtest86
(free program)

i had that problem in special forces, i just ran the 1.3 full patch again and it seemed to fix it.

ok so first i will install 1.3 agin then if not il do MEMTEST and last solution will be full reinstall i guess.... thanks ill try it :-)

by the way does the 1.3 patch needs to be 438 megas or you used anther one?

sounds right on the size of patch 1.3
i can look it up if you need me to
in other words, yes - use the FULL patch
not incremental

ok i used that patch agin this time it was much quiqer and still have the problem :-\
(but you know i went from the first version of BF2 to 1.3 i didnt install any other patches
like 1.22 or 1.21)

Maybe if i install 1.4 it will help?... i really cant find my self reinstalling the whole thing and having the same problem agin :-\

I am getting the same 81301 error with patch 1.3 only. I'll post if I find a solution,

I was having the PB thing happen and I keep the most current PB version saved to my desktop and apply it from there before every BF2 session and I have not had the PB corruption issue since.

OK i got the solution reinstall the game and then install the 1.3 patch 438 megas now ITS working PERFECT!!! thanks alot :-)

Ran memtest for 4 hours no errors so I'll try the reinstall of bf2 and re DL patch 1.3
