Yeah, I know that. :) It was a low populated server and noone was flying the heli, so I grabbed it. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I know it is a team game and if that had been the reason why I was kicked, then I wouldn't have complained (I have been kicked for flying solo several times as I wasn't "working as a team").


Let me get this straight:

I AM NOT USING ANY KIND OF MACRO.

Is it so hard to press f2, right click, guide the missile and then press f1 again!? No it isn't that hard, especially not when you have practiced it a bit. Don't assume that I use macros just because I fly solo.

Just looked like it was happening very quickly, and well I doubt people's skills. I'm a pessimist :P

If you ever get that heli bug, just crash it and wait for a fresh and (hopefully) functioning one.

That has worked for me before but didn't work for me the other night. I ditched the cobra, got another and it was still the same. I actually got out of the game and reloaded BF2 and it was fine again.

What you're about to see is a display of Bf2 at it's best.
I was flying the heli on Dalian Plant, when I noticed how it started to act very strange. It seemed as if the heli had nervous twitches or something. At first I thought a car had been dropped on the heli, but that was not the case. I've had this happened to me before, but this time I decided to record it in Fraps. It was kind of funny at first to see how the heli reacted, but it made it more difficult to fly :hmm:. And no, it was not because of lag, because everything else went smoothly. It was only when I was in the pilot's seat in the heli, that this unstability occured.

At the end you see me getting kicked. The reason was:
"You have been kicked via PunkBuster (for 1 minute)
KICKING!!! [CPo] Vidh for CHEATING --> Padding Stats
[Admin Decision]"

1. I wasn't cheating in any way
2. Would you call what I did, to "pad stats"?

Please give me a better reason next time you're kicking me

OMG! that EXACT same thing happened to me the other day, but in the z-10 on wake. but when i got into the cobra, it was fine. so i just kept stealing there heli

I have occasionally seen that glitch in a chopper and assumed it was some kind of lag. Its not usually a problem for me as my choppers quickly fall victim to gravity.
Very nice flying and shooting, btw. Doesn't look like hacking to me.

It's not hacking, I can see the missiles redirect the few times he clicks. People are so quick with the accusations... :laugh:

how come when u switch to the gunners seat the heli doesnt spin when i try to fly solo and switch to tv the heli keeps spinning right and cant never get a hit

and as far as you getting kicked?
we would have kicked you also
flying alone is not permitted in our server
(this is a TEAM game)
and you also were cheating - as MACROS are cheats
and you clearly were using them

I can *** how solo'ing could be classified as stats padding, Im not saying it was a justified kick or w/e. Think about it if your gunner gets a kill you get 1 point but if you do solo and get a kill its 2 points :-/

I had almost the same problem swith the Blackhawk last night, cept i didnt get kicked. Probally you got kicked for using the TV missiles "too well"?

Silly theory here......

I myself, a few friends, and a bunch of you have had this wierd twitchy helicopter problem, within the last few days, and yes we've seen it before.

Do you remember when they were messing with BF2 netcode and all that, releasing new info "pop-ups", releasing new patches, that "last minute addition for servers" last patch?

I think they are doing something with BF2 again...who knows? Friday?

It does, you just don't have time to see it because he fires the missile rapidly: otherwise, it does rotate on itself.

Of course, you can always position your heli at an angle to avoid the rotation... the only catch being that you will plummet to the ground in no time unless you're careful.
