Im not sure what scinto is on about but VeNoM:[AK] is spot on and IMO its the ultimate test of a players skill being a ground pounder espeacially if you play all the maps not just the city maps.

I'm a ground pounder! out of 700 hours i got ike less than 100 hours in any type of vehicle.......10240 kills with support gun.........

Strictly-speaking, it's a combat infantryman who fights primarily on foot.

Anti-Tank, Assault, Sniper, and Spec-Ops are the main candidates for being ground-pounders, since they usually get points by combat only.

Medic, Support, and Engineer can also be ground-pounders, but most of these players usually gain a large portion of points by non-combat activities, so usually don't qualify (there are exceptions of course).
