Crashing while in a game or when just joining a game?

So yea this problem started today, the game play has also been jumpy but my ping is around 50

I was in a game and then suddenly after shooting a tank with a rocket from a helicopter it crashes to desktop... then i join again and it happens again... then i try to join again and it crashes after clicking join game after my account was verified...

any idea what the problem could be?

The problem is the 1.3 patch. It's been a widespread issue and everyone has been affected. Be patient and try to readjust your video settings the 1.4 patch will be out shortly.

i got the 1.3 patch thanks for tlling me the prob im not getting 1.4 cuz not all servers support it ill wait till they do thanks again also another SMALL prob before i could log in quick now it takes 10 or so secs (i did say it was small) when im logging in it doesnt play the move in the background only small i no but still :)

What things can I check to find out why the game crashed to desk top? I ran a memtest so far, what else can I do besides use 1.4 patch. I had to install my 1.3 patch through a dos prompt. ASUS M2N-SLI, 2 gig PQI Ram, 7900GT, maxtor 500gig

mines doing it when i start bf2 before it even get to the movie it exits
