Script / Bind question

I was looking for scripts that would allow me to switch between only pistol and primary weapon by rolling the mouse wheel forward and backwards without switching between kits, grenades ect.

Also for a script that would switch to grenades, pull the pin and hold until you pressed the right mouse, then switch back to your primary weapon.

I used to use these in other games like SOF2, but I have not seen very many scripts out for BF2 (ones that don't involve dolphin diving and bunny hopping anyway) so I was wondering if they are even legal to use.

Hopefully you can make out my rambling and grammar errors.

Any info is appreciated.

I made that so I could switch between pistol (mouse wheel up) and nades (mouse wheel down) without having to screw with the equipment toggle crap.

Just change the weapon bank to "3" (as in c_PIWeaponSelect3) and stick it on either bind.

weapons by numbers:

1= knife
2=pistol
3-smg
4=nades
5=ammo/med bags
6=shock paddles

As for a pull-pin bind, no clue.
I just made that because I always bound pistol/nades to the mouse wheel in RTCW and the bf2 in-game bind menu system sucked.


Oh yeah, if you don't know where to do all this, just open your "Controls.con" file in notepad (located in C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-NAME-HERE\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001) and scroll to the very bottom.

Replace the default bind with that one.

I've got a side to side switch on my mouse that I use for knife one way and pistol the other. There is onother button for going prone plus the normal mouse functions. It is a G7 Logitech. don't tell anyone aye. Haha. works great.

any ideas how to bind minimap zoom in/out on the mouse scroll?
