He was taking that from the PB admins section on evenbalance not the player section. pb_sv_getss is a server only command that admins can do, players can't.

I guess you can only take your own PB SS as a player maybe to stop you cheating by seeing waht another player sees, hence finiding their location. Never tried taking one as a player before.

it doesnt send it diretly to you that instant, and the time it would take it is pretty retarded to say it would give away a players position

and to get pb ss just make buddy buddy with a server admin where you normally pub and have them do it, done deal

there is spectator mode when you die dont click on a spawn point but hit the x on the top right hand side of the spawn screen then hit c to cycle through players. you can only see people on your side.

Yeah I know, it usually takes 2-3 minutes for it to come in, but if they are a commander or maybe a sniper camping you could tell where they were by taking a PB SS of their minimap,but why have the option for a player to take their own PB SS? To me its a way to workout for the hackers whether they can be detected or not.
