Hi guys! I'm the guy who made this video, thanks for all the comments - we need opinions to make our promos better in the future.
Hardware was a 6800GS (def. not the best) and an opteron 148 @ 2.9Ghz with 1GB ram.
But, not to complain, be a critic, negative person, or anything else of that nature. I do not see how that is HD. I mean, look at the AA. Just bc you outputed it in on an HD setting it wont actually be HD unless the actual footage is HD. To do that you have to have the Games Resolution and Graphical settings pretty darn high. Such as 1600x1280. Now that would HD.
actually, it IS HD as we filmed EVERYTHING at 1280x720 which is native 720p resolution. We also edited in premiere pro and exported using Windows Media Encoder at 1280x720, so it is infact 720p high definition.
Frapsing at 1920x1080 is currently impossible so 1080p is out of the question but in newer releases of fraps they will enable recording at a high resoluiton like that.
also how is 1600x1280 any kind of regular resolution? It isn't high def, thats for sure. High def is 1280x720 and 1920x1080. you probably meant 1600x1200 but thats too big for fraps to record and all we needed was 720p.
Also all settings were on high except textures were on medium because I only have 1GB of ram, with 2X AA and 4X AF.
