well they didnt really fall. Think of a rain cloud except instead of water its FAV jeeps with parachutes all bouncing off of each other and slowly descending. Quite a Site from a helocopter i gotta say.

omg....i was in a server and that happened.....i thought it was the coolest thing ever.....the street was littered with vodkniks, burning vodniks, exploding vodniks, and charred vodnik corpses......was awesome trekking between them in combat....like a minefield, some blowing up, some ready to drive away......was in the middle of the frontline.....i loved it....and the best part was, it was happening continously......i kept requesting a vehicle drop too lol

You could just hold E button, enter a vehicle, and wait. If you see a burnt truck just move from there. Could be nice blow up the trucks with a machinegun or something to kill someone.
