I tried using the search button but I couldnt find a issue like this. Every time my friend enters a server every 2-3 "There is a problem with your connection". This happens on every server apparently.

What connection speed does he have? Is he using a wireless network card?

I will ask him. I think its because he went to a server in Norway. His ping was about 140.

I'm pretty sure it's patch related. If you like in the States the worst thing you could do ping-related is to connect to a game server overseas. The ping for most would be intolerable to say the least.
Have him call his ISP and ask if there is any construction work being done near his neighborhood to the lines. He should aslo try and run a traceroute to multiple servers. This will determine if there are packets being lost somewhere along the way.
This problem is more common than not yet frequently dismissed as "it's not that it's something else."

This has been happening in varying degrees to people since the latest patch and to some beforehand, there are loads of threads and I've tried everything to correct it. I've given up as it appears to be something server side related to admin actions on other players or connects/disconnects, when you get it hit the ` Key and bring up the console, mine nearly always displays a punkbuster message although there's nothin on the playing screen, go and play a few rounds and copy the message in here someone may be able to tell you exactly whats happening.

Thanks for the help guys. I think his main problem would be playing on oversea servers since he only gets the problem when his ping is very high. When we tried a low pinged server he seemed not to have any problems with the connection. I know that 1.3 Patch has been having issues about disconnection,connection problems etc. But he bought the game 3 days ago. He installed it and tried playing on the Unranked Servers that dont require a patch to be installed. He still have the same problem. I suggested him to install the 1.3 Patch but it didnt fix it either.

Do you guys think his problem could be dealing with Punk Buster ?
