    Need to know if i should just reinstall?

    Ok, well the other day i was playing BF2 when my computer just restarted on me. I called it a night after that but when i tried to play the next day, everything was fine up until i entered the map after it had been loaded. The sounds were still being heard and the frag text on the upper left corner was still scrolling. However, my cursor was frozen in the middle of the screen and my screen was stuck in the character selection and map screen. Should i just reinstall it or what? I attached my specs for reference thnx ahead of time.

    P.S.- I also was unable to escape to the main menu

          Actually yes. The information provided can make it easier for the people with computer experience and experience with this game to help the person asking.               it is your controls.con file
              it is failing to recognize the mouse

              just copy the controls.con from you default profile

              hint - this is why I have a copy of all my profie folders :P

                  yeah and the restart was prob from ur computer overheating (well happens to my computer)

                  and i was gonna say reset ur controls in options to default but topgungreg sounds right
