i recently purchased bf2 and special forces. i downloaded the full (not 1.22->1.3) patch but it still shows my version as 1.1.2878-710.0. i'm pretty sure it's not the right version... can someone help me out?

Use the search feature, the answer has been posted a lot.
You are seeing the build number in game. The patch version is not shown in game. -
