help w/ getting mod to work

ok... i'll start from the beginning. way back when i first got bf2 (near when it came out) i made a mod by copying the mods/bf2 folder and renaming it. i modded a bunch of stuff by opening the tweak files and changing the code. then i stopped playing bf2 for a while, and i just started again. however, my mod doesn't work with the updated version of bf2 . I tried creating a mod with the editor and then copying all the tweak files i edited into that mod, but when i run the new mod it's just normal bf2. if you understood that, please help!

Hmmm, start over bro. Create a MOD of your own. Copy BF2, and edit it in the editor if need be.

ya i know i should, but i'm realllly lazy and that mod took a long time to do. i just wanna find a way to save all my old modded stuff, but i guess you're right.

Go into the editor and creat a new dummy MOD, then import your data over to it. Then at least your strcuture will be intact, and you should be able to get into the game from there. If you have any specific problems you need help with go to the editor forums. We cover and discuss all issues with modding for bf2, and there are lots of people with lots of answers there.
