proud as I am of getting the kill in Sharqi
have to admit - it was an ACCIDENT :p
I was spawning at the Beech, and as the Cobra came swooping by for a few kills,. I went to 'spot him" for our Havok
and BAM - it (cobra) exploded when I did not do the "spot" correctly and fired off my trusty JH

take 'em when I can get 'em

Yeah, that happened to once to ...
The heli was pretty f***** up (had just taken a sraw shot) so i unloaded my G3 at it ...... i guess that's not taking down a chopper, that's frag stealling ...

yep, if the chopper is on fire and about to blow up, if you so much as blow on the chopper and do the slightest amount of damage it counts as your kill

Rofl, ever see a flaming chopper shoot at it with whatever you have got, Pistol or whatever. You will get the kill or maybe the kill damage assist.

Hell ya, I have gotten RocketChild [92FS] Pilotwhore a couple times. A couple months ago, I was a sniper and had a helo hovering right above me for about 90 seconds, I emptied a sniper rifle clip in it, then went through all my pistol rounds and the thing few off smoking and blew. What a dumb*** pilot!

Never had that lol, I can remember one off the top of my head, the Z-10 was smoking and heading back to base (this was on Wake) and I was where the Stinger nearest to the airfield is, and instead of using that I just blasted at it with my G36C, then it says that I [KILLED], never said which weapon and never has done every time I've done it.

Once saw a friend of mine"jamesfri13" take out a cobra with a dao12. It was hurt and trying to attack him so he let lose and it blew up lol . Reminded me of Duckhunt except of course these ducks have rockets and a big gun :laugh:

I got one on kubra, I was at that flag under the bridge and I was all the way under it, there was a chopper up there waiting for people to spawn, i came out, took a shot and got him lol, it felt good:)

also when u see two choppers fighting, shoot at the enemy chopper with ur gun, u might get the kill, I got it once with my AK-47

90% of the time it will only say [KILLED] unless you are in a vehicle.

Probally another guy (most lkely a guy on a .50 cal shooting at it) then u shot him and killed him, happens not every time.

Not in this special scenerio, I know what you are thinking though, but I was in a great position to see everything, it was an open field behind me, and I could see the whole battle in front and what was not hitting the helo.

You can get credit for killing a chopper by shooting it before it crashes too. I was on Mass destruction and shot at a chopper that had full health, it crashed right after and I got credit for killing it.

what Greg failed to mention is that while he was doing a celebration dance after the bird shot i swooped down and pwndizzled him with my 1337 chopper skillz.

yeah, it happened like that
