Welcome to TBF2.
I would not mind seeing such additions with new maps that might show up in the future. I think the current balance now in EF is pure magic. Taraba already has LGBs, but no helos. And there are enough AA to keep it somewhat level. As for the xport helos, well, I don't think they are too needed, I think in OSS with the amount of jeeps available, everything is cool and it would screw with Great Wall too much...Taraba might be nice, but since there are not a lot of cross-connects, it would be hard to get to a location quickly without an helo.
If we get a community map program going, I think it would be great to see some xport helos, esp if they were EU helos like you are seeing in some of the mod packs.
If you have any ideas for great community EF maps that are not ranked, may try suggesting them here
