Wake is my favorite map.
I don't know why, maybe I like a good challenge or the sea brings happy memories... :)
I love Mashtuur as well, but still Wake is on top.

I used to like it when blackhawks were powerful. It was awesome to hunt it with vodnik MGs, or being a gunner in BH and get huge points.

I agree it is a well laid out map and let's face it, scraps at the backyard are mad fun!

I love the tactical dimension of it where if you capped the tank spawns (or the pre-nerf chopper spawns) you denied the enemy access to a major combat asset
very clever design, Even with jets like the beta had I would imagine that it would still have worked really well

its probaberly my 2nd most palyed...i like it as its alot more infantry based and you have to think quite tacticaly about although more servers need to play it!!!!! more 24/7 ( i cant connect to 50+ servers after 1.3 ) but i like it

i tihnk everyone got put off it long time ago by the blackhawk..but i still loved it then

I agree, Mashtuur City is my favorite Vanilla map at the moment... no attack chopper or jet spam (thus no whores, thus no TK's for vehicles)... its big, open, allows for CLOSE quarters fighting as well as some quality sniping... this is a spectacular map.

I love playing this map too. It's still rad gunning with the blackhawk just not as fun as it was.

Ya it's a brill map.
That and Karkand, teamwork always fall into place.
Which is great, because with a good squad, the points roll in.

Mashtuur seems to be one of my more unlucky maps, actually. One of those maps where I can be running about with my squad and I'll be the first one to die. It's a hell of a fun map, it's just one of the maps that doesn't seem to like me very much. :p

Sharqi is still my favorite. The attack chopper isn't that big of a deal and can be easily avoided, if you are smart, through most of the map.

Unless one of the chopper pilot is REAL good, I can EASILY outscore them with the tank and will often do so on foot as well.

The uncappable isn't that big of a deal, IMO. It is like 1 game out of 20 ends in all of the bases being capped, if even that high. There are just so many great places to have little infantry battles.

Mashtuur owns, one of my favorite maps, Sniping is very good on it, lots of teamwork, but removing the BH's power has reduced alot of teamwork

Yes it is enjoyable. Those some good reasons. Yeah, no FAVs, but Vodniks and Humvees.

Two transport choppers per side could make it a lot more interesting, but it's a great map as is.
