BF2 wont start

sorry if this topic has been mention before, but I tried searching and found nothing about my crash.

When I start BF2 in fullscreen mode it just crashes to desktop and when I start it in window mode it gives me this error:

and yes I already patch my game to 1.3

every other game works fine ecept BF2!
Is there a way to fix this?

My Specs:
Intel Pentium D (dual core)
1gb Ram
GeForce 7600 GT 256mb
Asus PVD1-X motherboard
500w psu

Anyways, I guess you could try reinstalling BF2. But let others first reply to you, coz there can be a easy sollution to it...

i got it from wincustomize.com, but you got to find it, I totally forgot where is it in the site.

nope, I reinstalled BF2 and installed the patch several times and still get that message.
