Honestly i dont see what the big fuss is about. I also wouldn't conisder that stat padding, ya they get high round scores but it takes a damn long time to get them. You can get more points playing shorter rounds. So how is that stat padding?
Besides who cares what people do in there server that they pay for? Just leave em alone. If i found out someone got my sever shut down cause there a baby i'd do all in my power to find them. Then i'd show up on there doorstep and we'd have some choice words.
I see it as playing an alternative play style of the game. The same old conquest game type gets old. Also if admins can say no baseraping, or thats my jet your kicked, then why cant they say go play somewhere else if you dont want to use pistol or knife? whats the difference? Its just a simple alteration of the rules which i believe is not against the ROE.
There is a solution to this so called problem. It would be good for ea to just program a K/P mode into the game. There already considering a infantry only mode, i believe, so why not take it a step further. Then everyone wins.

if you want to play by those rules, then play unranked...

it's your server yes, you lease it, but being ranked it has to abide by the ROE, or you risk getting the server shut down or delisted..

^^For 1, it is against ROE.
For 2, it is stat padding. You get a ton more points for less time. As much as you want to think the round will take forever, you are wrong.
For 3, most K&P servers make it so that (for example, on Karkand) the USMC only captures the Hotel so that the tickets don't drain from flag caps. They only drain from kills... Ties into #2... It seems like it'd even out in points/hour but it really doesn't. Even if one of those games took 1 hour to finish, most people get 500+ points. I hardly know anyone who gets 500+pts/hr. I can barely manage 100. Yes, I'm l33t.



l33t part was a lie. But 500+pts/hr as infantry is beyond amazing.

You can play K&P servers on unranked. But then you won't get the points, which eliminates the need for K&P... which, therefore, makes K&P retarded.

EA doesn't shut them down because even though they are illegal, they still are a source of money for them.

EA doesn't make money when other GSP's sell servers. If anything they would loose money from bandwidth costs and having to store all the servers information.

If people are willing to report these stat padders then why complain? Its not hurting you. There is no reason to be against reporting these people. If you want to play in a N&P server then join one thats unranked.
