On a side note I do not want to write another 3 page post that explains the cold hard truth that shows why we are at this point in BF2's lifespan. EA/DICE sums it up by saying 2142 Has most of the BF2 bugs fixed. So go buy it if you want to play a good stable game.

Its because of the new engine. BF2 is the first of its kind for EA, BF2142 being the second. With a new engine, comes new problems. Its almost as if BF2 is a EA/Dice experient in online gaming. With 2,050,000 copies sold, u can expect EA to use this same engine in the future for even more money grabbing. Other games arent as unstable because the company producing them probably new what they were dealing with. Thats what happened with BF1942 and BFV.

Its definitely the first of its kind that's for sure. :laugh:

What I would like to see from EA is an apology for screwing up us. They should offer a discount for 2142 as an UPGRADE price for 1/2 the price or something. Everybody else offers software UPGRADES, why not game devs....?

Because they're out to make money. Why is Windows $200? It's just an upgrade from previous versions each time it's released. $$$$$ makes the world go round.

To OP - EA tends to rush everything, and rarely support the products they make. Play any other EA game and you will experience similar problems related to rushing the production.

Dont get 2142 get PoE2 then you wont have to deal with EA/Dice.

Dude I have been stating this ever since the announcement of 2142 came out. I could not agree with you more and thank the heavens for allowing someone else to think this way.
