There's no option for "they never will", so I went for old folks home. The next patch will be the last as they will be focusing on BF2142 from then on.

I am programmer. I have to read/write code almost every day. I have never seem a perfect program yet. even big corporations release patches for their programs almost everyday. a big example of this is Microsoft. they even have a special day to release patches for windows. yes windows. Your OS is full of bugs and i dont see anyone bashing Microsoft. Microsoft is going to release 12 patches for windows tomorrow. I know this for sure. what is coded by men is not perfect.

While I agree with your principle statement about no program being perfect, there is also such a thing as "degrees of tolerance". Its the frequency of the bugs in BF2 which pises everyone off so much. I have other games that will crash once every 6 months, or sometimes never.

With BF2 you are guaranteed a crash once ever 5-10 hours of gameplay, and that, my friend, is completely unnaceptable for a game of BF2s maturity. And thats not even getting into the in-game bugs like the red/blue tag issue.

Please explain how it could be any other way? An option saying "I'm deluded - the game is perfect"?

since 1.3 came up and they fixed the browser issue, I only had 3 crashes.

if a server crashes. no big deal. i had fun before it did, i just go to another one. remember people should also take in consideration, device drivers, game settings, computer settings, spyware, applications etc. i really dont pay attention to the bugs, well bunny hopping, i just play the game to release stress.

DICE swedan is working on 2142, DICE canada has and WILL CONTINUE working on BF2, so stop with all the ignorant comments of them dropping support of BF2 once 2142 is released
