You know something? Raven and ID are great companies, they are making Quake 4 multiplayer very good, in the last patch they brought in like 3 maps. In this patch they have: (I'll just post the map names)
8 New Multiplayer Maps:
Cavernous Cryonics
Central Industrial
Warforged
Stroyent Red
Retrophoboplis
Firewall
Stroggenomenon
Verticon
Also a new Buy mode:
Sort of like CS, you can buy weapons, or better weapons, frag enemies and get credits to buy your weapons which is bound to the ''b'' key, any weapon in the game if you have enough credits, ammo refils, armor etc.
Fixes:
Single ambiant light option
Multiplayer weapon damage and movement values adjusted
Player respawns on his/her last combatants location
Shotgun hit sounds will no longer drop
The game no longer has to be relaunched to access more than 4 netdemos
The wrong icon will no longer appear for certain clients after a team shuffle
Spawn auto-complete in the recon window will no longer crash
Voting for Team DM and certain maps will no longer load the wrong map
The Apply changes button in the options has been removed
Acrash will no longer occur in Tourney if a finalist disconnects
A players name will no longer change to that of the player in the demo if NetDemo is played
Time Limit Hit will no longer be displayed in the wrong circumstances.
Oh yeah theres a new weapon, Napalm Gun
