unlocks

hi all
i only just started playing BF again after a long break and i started a new account.
i just reached my first promotion private-private first class and got the little box telling me i was promoted but i got no unlock box
is there a way to get my unlock or have i got to wait until my next rank?
is this a bug or am i just being a n00b :)

It doesn't. Lance Corporal is the first rank with an unlock.

its a bug.
BTW just saying that there is no need to post and ask which unlock is best becuz really there is no best unlock. Its up to u which kit u want to play untill ur next rank.

Been said already, but that first promotion doesnt give you unlocks. Lance Cprl does.

i only posted cause last time i played i was sure i got an unlock for my first rank but that was back with version 1.0.
