it took me around 4-5 min to connect to account.
Then after exiting the game, it also took a while to the menu.

Lol, i tried restoring the system, i just dont go to the extreme of reinstalling or formatting the game.

Anyway now im gonna unrestore my system...

It takes about 5 minutes to login, just go make yourself a sammich or something.

He's right guys, just wait a lil while. I actually went and made a sammich. :)

EDIT: Btw, don't try to go into BFHQ to look at stats, that'll take another eon.

Funny right when i change a network setting it goes down. Took me a few mins to realize that the Bf2 account server is down lol. Damn u EA

I haven't played for 3-4 months. I just tested and get my comp ready for my 12 y/o nephew to play tomorrow then... slow connecting problem.

yeah won't login for me either, annoying.

As for restarting your pc yes its true bf2 will crash if it can't login but if it hangs just press ctrl alt delete and select cancel task to get out of the hang :)
