I have SF and have played those maps, but not exactly what I would call CQB.

Warlord is just to symmetrical and so obvious.

Same with the TV Station flag capture points, they need to mix it up some, even if it affects the balance a little bit.

Re: Ideas for a new booster?

Urban Decay Booster pack would sound cool or something like that.

Have like 3 maps (hopefully more) with like:

        Russian Spetz vs Rebels:

Snowing town (like COD2 map Stalingrad) with buildings ruined but actuall snow effects dropping and snow around the map and ground, have it set out like a Mass Destruction but with more buildings.

        EuroForces vs MEC

Euro troops are sent to help the USMC in an area near Mashtuur City. Have like a Mashtuur based map but with Euro forces vs MEC. More destroyed buildings and places for Snipers to be.

        Insurgents vs Rebels:

Rebels take hold of a abandoned militia Palace, Insurgents had already planned to use this Palance, Insurgents invade. Have a Palance quite high up like in Devils Pearch, on top of a hill, and have shacks surrounding and around the palace.

        (More maps) Jungle Warfare:

MEC troops invade the South American Jungle and set up bases, guerilla warfare. USMC troops are near by, the map could be set up like Operation Clean Sweep, except in a Jungle with flowing rivers and good Sniper spots etc.

        Christmas Island:

Local Rebels seize abandoned Nuclear testing bases in Christmas Island in an attempt to launch weapons of mass destruction which they retreived from the Black Market. Brittish SAS intervene.

So many ideas, shame DICE wouldn't make them real though.

Re: Ideas for a new booster?

I would love to have a booster called Urban Missions with the following maps:

First a DC Lost Village type day one map and day two map that would start with the US taking the city and the second day the Insurgents recapping the village from the US. This would not be a Wake type of map where they ported it to BF2, but new maps built from the ground up. These two maps would include a couple of blackhawks a few scout helos from AF and some jeeps. I always loved Lost Village for its lack of armor. All bases would be cappable, including the U.S. Home base making it possible for the U.S. to completely fail in their initial assault.

The third map would be called Operation Owl. The U.S. would have to take the city from the Insurgents in a night time invasion.

The fourth would be called Operation Heavy. This would be a complete armored assault urban map with two or three tanks and APCs for each team
          as well as transports.

The fifth would be called City of Industry in which the U.S. landed and took control of a lightly guarded industrial complex surrounded by hills. They would have a single tank, two jeeps and one APC. The Insuregents would have the equivilent armor and vehicles plus an attack helo. They would attack from the surrounding hills and try to retake the complex. There would be no arty available in this map.

The sixth maps would be a BF2 Market Garden type of map with full armor, arty helo and airplane support for both teams. Again this would not be a port of Market Garden but a completely new map based on the original concept.

The final map would be called Center Street Bridge which would be a full armor, arty, helo and transport map. The team that holds the bridge flag causes the other team's tickets to bleed. There would only be three flags, two uncappable and the bridge. Vehicles would not be allowed access to the bridge flag and plenty of AA stations would keep the helo's at bay. This would be an intense firefight from start to finish and a great 64 player map.

This booster would also re-introduce mortors to BF2 as part of the support role, as well as include night vision.

This would a booster worth checking out in my opinion.
Thats would awsome. But would dice and ea put night vision into bf2 even though this is implemented into SF?
Them are some great ideas, sound good for sniping aswell.

Hmmmmm here's an idea. A booster pack that fixes all of the bugs, exploits, and CTDs. It would be called "Patch 1.5" and would cost $40.
